Irish meets Turkish at this laid back family style tented wedding overlooking rolling Gibbet Hill
Katelyn and Baran tied the Turkish knot witnessed by friends near and far (and by far that would be Turkey and Ireland) in the field behind her Uncle and Aunt’s Groton home. This stunning property which overlooks Groton Hill was the backdrop for the clear topped tent and glowing lights that shined and danced with the evening celebration. Family style mezzo platters and Raki (the national drink of turkey) were served at long rustic wood dining tables decorated with colorful single blooms of the season and various vinegars thanking guests for attending their special day. This was a dancing crowd and we quickly moved the sweetheart table to make ample room for the guests to party thru the night!
