Sara + Matt’s Estate Wedding at Moraine Farm

A Backyard Feel in a Sailcloth Tent at The Estate at Moraine Farm

Sarah and Matt had always envisioned a wedding with an elevated backyard vibe—something elegant yet comfortable, with an inviting atmosphere for their closest family and friends. When they came to me, they already knew they wanted a tented wedding, and we set out to find the perfect spot to bring their vision to life. We stumbled upon The Estate at Moraine Farm in Danvers, which offered the perfect combination of charm, space, and natural beauty for their 150 guests.

The sailcloth tent stood tall against the evening sky, its elegant curves giving the wedding an upscale, refined atmosphere. With the stunning North Shore backdrop and the peaceful surroundings of the estate, Sarah and Matt were able to bring their dream wedding to life. The unique, airy design of the tent created a sense of intimacy while still accommodating a large guest list.

Personal Touches That Made the Day Special

Sarah and Matt's wedding wasn’t just any celebration; it was a perfect reflection of their love for each other and their personalities. Since the couple has spent many summers together in New Hampshire on the beach, we brought a bit of that beachy nostalgia into the celebration. One of my favorite additions was the Photo Bus from NH, a vintage, retro-style photo booth that created a fun and interactive experience for guests. The classic strip photo style evoked a sense of nostalgia and made for fun, memorable photos.

The couple also has a unique tradition of collecting matchbooks wherever they travel, so we customized matchbooks with their names for guests to take home. It was a small detail, but it left a lasting impression and provided guests with a tangible memento from the special day.

Sweet Treats, Live Music, and Unwrapped Furniture!

When it came to entertainment, Sarah and Matt were insistent on having a live band to set the perfect tone for the evening. Music filled the air as friends and family danced the night away, making the wedding feel even more alive with excitement.

For Sarah, the celebration wasn’t complete without satisfying her sweet tooth! To accommodate her love for desserts, we designed a custom Sweet Bar that was a huge hit with the guests. From candy to pastries, it was the ultimate indulgence and a crowd favorite!

But perhaps one of the most unique touches of this wedding was the furniture. Sarah’s friends had just launched their own furniture rental company, and they were able to provide all the tables and chairs for the event. The best part? They were unwrapped and revealed to the couple and their guests for the very first time on their wedding day! It was such a special moment that made everything feel even more personal and exciting.

Update: They are now happily married with three beautiful children (1 boy and 2 girls) enjoying family life on the North Shore!
